Once the merchant clicks Check &
Charge, the Payment Gateway will connect to the acquiring
bank and check that the customer
has cleared funds as well as
doing a complete fraud check on
the customer from their name and
address that has been provided.
If transaction is authorised, it
will
successfully charge the
transaction.
This is ideal for retail
businesses, telemarketing, call
centres and in fact almost any
business that takes credit card
payment - allowing merchants to
accept credit card payments from
almost any remote location.
